Job Skills / Requirements
The Residential Gatehouse Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and controlled access of the residential community. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries while ensuring all community access procedures and security protocols are followed. Officers are expected to provide professional customer service while monitoring activity and responding to incidents in a calm and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian access at the gatehouse
  • Verify resident, guest, vendor, and contractor authorization before granting entry
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue passes as required
  • Patrol assigned areas of the neighborhood when necessary
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or violations of community rules
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, or emergencies according to company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with residents, management, law enforcement, and emergency services
  • Operate security equipment including cameras, radios, gate systems, and access control software
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports
  • Ensure gatehouse remains clean, organized, and professional at all times
  • Provide courteous assistance and directions to residents and visitors
  • Enforce community access policies and security procedures consistently and professionally

This is a Part-Time position3rd Shift, Weekends.
