Sunday: 2 PM to 10 PM

  • Pay Rate : $17.51 an hour.

Position Overview: United Protective Services is hiring a Full-time officer for a Gated community. This role is centered around being present on the floor, keeping an eye on activity, and helping maintain a setting where customers and staff feel comfortable. You'll be interacting with people throughout the shift while also handling routine patrols. Some hours are quieter, others can pick up quickly, so staying aware of your surroundings is important.

Responsibility :

  • Control access to the gated property by verifying residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries

  • Monitor entry and exit activity and maintain accurate visitor and incident logs

  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety, security, and rule compliance

  • Observe, report, and respond to suspicious activity, safety hazards, or disturbances

  • Enforce community rules and policies in a professional and respectful manner

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and property staff

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, property management, and residents

  • Maintain a visible, professional presence at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred (residential or gated community experience is a plus)

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to remain alert, calm, and professional during long shifts

  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

  • Basic computer or log-writing skills (daily reports, visitor logs, incident reports)

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
