Job Duties and Functions
1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
2. Arrive to work on time, consistently.
3. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper attire, crisp, clean and in good repair.
4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
5. Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
6. Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
7. Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
8. Understand the room service menu, thus ensuring accurate orders from Guests.
9. Learn the P.O.S. system, all room service tickets must be rung up.
10. Responsible for answering the room service phone and accepting all Room Service orders.
11. Accountable for turning in all room service orders to the room service servers for cooking and delivery.
12. Receive all signed tickets from room service servers, run room service report, verify checkout, turn tickets into accounting for billing, and report to payroll for gratuity payment.
13. Ring in all banquet orders, charging to the appropriate accounts, turn tickets into accounting for billing and reports into payroll for gratuity payment.
14. Accept all server checkouts from serves in the golf club and The Inn, verifying the checkouts, and then turn tickets into accounting for billing and server reports to payroll for gratuity payment.
15. Perform other jobs that will assist in quality Guest service as assigned by Food Checker Supervisor, Room Service Captain, or Food and Beverage Director.
