As a Security Officer Access Gate in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and directing authorized individuals at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or credential checkpoints to help support authorized access, document visitor activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services or site representatives when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, unsecured access points, and/or operational issues that may need attention.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation related to access control activity, visitor management, deliveries, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
