Job Summary:
Uniper is an internationally operating company focused on transforming the energy sector and ensuring energy supply security. They are seeking a Natural Gas Trading Analyst to develop new business models, work on technological solutions, and optimize data display and organization for trading strategies.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Programming skills for scraping data, building models, and warehousing data (Snowflake, Python, Pandas, Polars, Plotly, NumPy, SciPy, Dash Suite, Flask)
โ€ข SQL knowledge required, ETL data processes and tools, data access using APIs
โ€ข Experience in tool/application deployment and best practices (Docker, cloud-based hosting services such as Azure, Github actions and workflow)
โ€ข Statistical modeling and forecasting using wide variety of time series and categorical data flows
โ€ข Develop tools for option pricing and analysis for both the US and global markets
โ€ข Utilize suite of models to evaluate and recommend trading strategies
โ€ข Design and present data in easy-to-understand formats to the team and work with team to optimize data display and organization
โ€ข Ability to handle several projects concurrently and quickly switch between tasks to best support the current needs of the team
โ€ข Work with teams to design and implement models in a high-reliability environment
