Lake James Electric LLC is looking for a skilled Licensed Gas Contractor to join our team in Morganton, NC, specializing in generator installations. Responsibilities:
  • Install, connect, and test natural gas and propane lines for residential and commercial standby generators
  • Ensure all gas piping installations meet local, state, and national code requirements
  • Coordinate with electricians and other trades to complete generator installation projects efficiently
  • Perform pressure testing and leak detection on newly installed gas lines
  • Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections with local authorities
  • Troubleshoot and service existing gas supply systems related to generator equipment
  • Maintain accurate job documentation, including as-built drawings and inspection records
Requirements:
  • Valid North Carolina Licensed Gas Contractor license required
