Garvan Woodland Gardens, a 210-acre botanical garden situated on a peninsula surrounded by scenic Lake Hamilton located in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Horticulture Assistant. The Horticulture Assistant will be responsible for weeding, watering, mulching, tilling, raking, planting, removing plantings, and other duties as assigned. This position requires physical work outside year-round. This team member will be expected to work well with others and under the supervision of an experienced staff member.
Pay $13-15 per hour based on experience and skill level. Landscape Maintenance Technician is a part-time, temporary position limited to the 1250-hour University of Arkansas policy. The campus is a non-smoking facility. This position requires a valid driver's license.
Some night and weekend work will be required seasonally.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
