Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Location: Skokie, IL

Pay: $18.00

**Schedule: **Monday - Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (OT as needed 4:00-4:30pm)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our production team in Skokie, Illinois. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable candidate with sewing experience who is interested in long-term employment.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating a JUKI industrial sewing machine and producing high-quality sewn products in a manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to meet production and quality expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate a JUKI industrial sewing machine safely and efficiently.
  • Sew, assemble, alter, and repair garments, protective apparel, and textile products according to specifications.
  • Follow work instructions, patterns, measurements, and production requirements.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Identify and report defective materials, sewing issues, or equipment problems.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workstation.

Qualifications
