What is a garment assembler?

Garment assemblers are workers who piece together the components of clothing and textile products, either by hand or using specialized machines. They follow patterns or instructions to join fabric pieces, add fasteners, and finish seams to create finished garments. This role is essential in manufacturing apparel and requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and knowledge of fabrics and sewing techniques.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a garment assembler?
