Parterre Garden Services, a premier horticultural and fine gardening company in Greater Boston, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Field Manager / Account Manager to help maintain and enhance beautiful landscapes. Known for our expertise, craftsmanship, and professionalism, we are looking for a leader who is passionate about plants and dedicated to building strong client relationships.
As a Field Manager at Parterre, you will have the opportunity to oversee a unique portfolio of client projects, leveraging your horticultural experience and personnel management skills. You’ll work collaboratively with Field Directors, Crew Leads, and a dedicated team of fine gardeners to deliver exceptional garden care and foster strong client relationships.

Your Role:

  • Manage approximately 30 client accounts, overseeing garden maintenance tasks, seasonal container planting, and holiday décor
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing creative solutions
  • Lead garden crews and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and client satisfaction
  • Generate new ideas to enhance client spaces and take the initiative to bring them to life
  • Use CRM software for scheduling, accounting, and proposal writing, ensuring smooth client communication and project tracking

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in horticulture, garden care, and account management
  • Passion for plants and garden design, with an eye for color and detail
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and perform outdoor tasks

Location:
While our headquarters are in Billerica, you'll travel to client locations in Belmont, Boston, Cambridge, Dedham, Dover, Lexington, Newton, Wellesley, Weston, Winchester, and more.

Employment Type:
This is a full-time, seasonal position (March-December). Some Saturdays may be required during peak seasons.
