Job description

The Stine family, including 3 generations of Stine family members, together with hundreds of associates, work side by side together toward providing the nation's best home improvement shopping experience and premier preferred workplace of its kind. Our retail and contractor supply locations provide thousands of quality products for new construction, remodeling, and industrial projects. Stine helps customers associates, and families build their dreams!
Job Summary:
The Loader greets and assists customers in the garden center, ensuring a friendly and courteous experience throughout the loading process. This highly visible role involves heavy loading, stacking, cleaning, and assisting with the unloading and loading of lawn and garden materials. Knowledge of lawn and garden products is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:

  1. Education: Basic reading and writing skills required.
  2. Training and Experience: No prior experience required; ability to read and write is essential.
  3. Job Knowledge: Familiarity with lawn and garden materials is preferred.
  4. Physical Demands: Requires frequent heavy physical activity, including standing, walking, and heavy lifting. Work is performed in a non-air-conditioned environment and is classified as constant heavy work with occasional extra heavy work.
