Position: Field Software Deployment & Integration Engineer
Location: Las Vegas, NV Preferred (Candidates near major international airports may be considered)
Type: contract to hire
Travel: Approximately 70%

Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Field Software Deployment & Integration Engineer to support customer installations, software deployments, and production go-live activities for gaming technology solutions deployed in casinos worldwide.
This is a software-focused field engineering role. The organization has dedicated hardware teams and is seeking engineers with strong software deployment, Linux administration, Kubernetes troubleshooting, and systems integration experience. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in customer environments, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting international deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Software Deployment & Integration
• Install, configure, and deploy gaming software solutions in customer environments
• Support production go-live activities and post-deployment stabilization
• Validate software readiness and perform deployment verification activities
• Troubleshoot application, configuration, and integration issues
Kubernetes & Systems Support
• Support containerized applications running within Kubernetes environments
• Analyze container logs, application logs, and system health checks
• Troubleshoot deployment and cluster-related issues
• Assist with automation and deployment activities utilizing tools such as Ansible
Production Troubleshooting
• Diagnose issues across software, networking, server, and hardware boundaries
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve production issues
• Support casino system integrations and customer-facing technical activities
• Document findings, root causes, and resolution steps
Qualifications
• 4+ years of software deployment, systems integration, production support, or related experience
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting Kubernetes environments
• Experience reviewing container logs, application logs, and health monitoring tools
• Basic networking troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools preferred
• Python experience is a plus
• Some hardware troubleshooting experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Additional Requirements
• Casino gaming experience strongly preferred
• Ability to travel approximately 70% domestically and internationally
• Travel includes North America, Canada, Macau, Manila, UAE, and other customer locations
• Valid passport required
• Candidates outside Las Vegas must be willing to travel to Las Vegas for onboarding and training
