Job description

Job Summary:
Fusion HCR is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with deep backend expertise to design and build scalable, high-performance systems supporting enterprise sportsbook and gaming platforms. This role requires strong hands-on experience with modern .NET and distributed systems, focusing on building resilient, transaction-heavy systems in regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend systems using C# and modern .NET (.NET 6/7/8)
• Build robust RESTful APIs and service-based architectures
• Design and implement event-driven systems using message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc.)
• Develop and maintain microservices running in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code following SOLID principles and domain-driven design concepts
• Optimize and tune SQL Server databases, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance
• Build systems that support high-volume, real-time transaction processing
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production support
• Participate in architectural discussions and mentor other developers
• Support secure coding practices in a highly regulated gaming environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep hands-on expertise in C# and .NET
• Strong experience designing and building APIs and distributed systems
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• Experience implementing message brokers and event-driven architectures
• Strong SQL Server experience including performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience working in high-availability, transaction-heavy systems
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Ability to work onsite in Las Vegas
Preferred:
• Sportsbook or real-time wagering platform experience
• Experience with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly)
• Experience with MAUI (cross-platform UI development)
• Azure cloud or hybrid-cloud experience
• Experience in regulated industries (gaming, finance, healthcare)
• Automated testing (unit/integration) and CI/CD pipeline experience
