Job description

POSITION TITLE: BLACKJACK DEALER

DEPARTMENT: CHARITABLE GAMING

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

This is a field-based, in-person role. The position does not work out of our business office or from home. Employees will work onsite at multiple gaming locations as assigned.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Blackjack Dealer has no direct reports.


JOB SUMMARY

The position provides excellent customer service while operating and managing charitable gaming activities such as Blackjack, Paddlewheel, Pull Tabs, and Bingo. This role ensures integrity on the gaming floor, performs accurate cash and chip counts, and supports a positive and safe gaming environment.


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Have good communication skills
  • Maintains integrity on the gaming floor.
  • Must be able to implement quick and simple math skills
  • Count and verify Cash totals and Chip totals
  • Operate and conduct all game types, including Blackjack/Twenty-One, Paddlewheel with a Table (Pig Wheel), Paddlewheel Without a Table (Meat Raffle), Paper Pull Tabs, Bingo, and Electronic Pull Tabs


PERIODIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist housekeeping when needed or in emergency situations
  • Pick up office supplies and other items as needed for business function
  • Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires high school diploma or GED and
  • Two years relevant work experience
  • Must be 21

COMPENSATION

$7.00-$14.00 hour plus tips
