General Manager, Games

Fliff

Austin, TX • Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

Fliff is the arena for high-upside play. We are dismantling the paywalls of legacy sportsbooks and reimagining the economics of social games to pioneer the next generation of rewards-driven entertainment spanning sports, casino, predictions, collectibles, and beyond.
Powered by a frictionless freemium architecture, Fliff democratizes access and gives millions of players nationwide a real stake, real thrill, and real upside. By combining authentic competitive drive with instant rewards and interactive games, we are turning passive sports fans and casual gamers into active, empowered participants – unlocking the player in everyone.

Fliff is expanding and building beyond sports. Our social sweepstakes casino is live today, and we endeavor to build towards product parity and have a best-in-class casino offering. We’re also building into entirely new casino-adjacent verticals such as collectibles and parimutuel-powered games. We are looking for a General Manager, Games to own this expansion end to end.

As GM, Games, you will lead product for the games portfolio and own the P&L across all games verticals. You will set the roadmap, own our vendor and content-partner relationships, manage the commercials, and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, CRM, Marketing, CX, Payments & Fraud, and Compliance to drive revenue in every vertical. This is a builder’s role: we need someone naturally curious and self-starting, who is diligently hunting for the next game, category, or vertical to add to the Fliff super app.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & P&L Ownership

  • Own the P&L for Fliff’s games businesses — social sweepstakes casino, collectibles, and parimutuel-powered games — including revenue, margin, content costs, and promotional spend

  • Define the strategy and roadmap to grow our sweeps casino from a lean in-app offering into a  best-in-class casino product

  • Identify, evaluate, and launch new games verticals and offerings: build the business case, run the pilot, and scale what works

  • Set revenue, engagement, and retention targets for each vertical and report performance to executive leadership

Product Leadership

  • Lead product direction for the games portfolio — lobby experience, game discovery, merchandising, jackpots, missions, and gamification

  • Prioritize the games roadmap with Product and Engineering, balancing content velocity against platform and feature investment

  • Champion the player: use data, customer insights from CX, and market research to build a differentiated games experience inside the Fliff super app

Vendor & Commercial Management

  • Own relationships with game studios, aggregators, and platform vendors end to end — sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and ongoing management

  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements to optimize content economics

  • Run regular business reviews with partners covering roadmaps, performance, and growth opportunities

Cross-Functional Revenue Leadership

  • Partner with CRM and Marketing on promotions, lifecycle campaigns, and go-to-market plans for new games and verticals

  • Work with Payments & Fraud, CX, and Compliance to ensure all games operate safely and within the sweepstakes model

  • Build and lead the Games team over time, including casino operations and future vertical owners

What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years in iGaming, social/sweepstakes casino, or real-money gaming, including 3+ years in a GM, commercial, or product leadership role

  • Demonstrated P&L ownership of a gaming or digital consumer business

  • Deep knowledge of casino content, game mechanics, and the studio/aggregator landscape; sweepstakes model experience strongly preferred

  • Track record negotiating vendor commercials and managing strategic partnerships

  • Naturally curious self-starter with entrepreneurial instincts — you scan the market constantly and bring new game and vertical ideas with a point of view on their economics

  • Strong analytical toolkit: fluent in games KPIs (GGR/NGR, hold, ARPPU, retention) and comfortable building the business case behind every launch

  • Proven cross-functional leadership across engineering, product, marketing, CRM, CX, and fraud teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred

Nice to Have
  • Experience launching a new gaming vertical or product line from zero (e.g., collectibles, prediction/parimutuel products, arcade, instant-win)

  • Familiarity with sweepstakes compliance and promotional regulations in the US market

  • Experience managing external game studios or co-development partners

Benefits
  • Competitive salary + equity

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Paid parental leave

  • $500 work-from-home stipend

  • Remote-first work environment

  • Professional development in one of the fastest-growing corners of gaming, and a collaborative workplace culture
