WHAT MAKES US EPIC?

At the core of Epic’s success are talented, passionate people. Epic prides itself on creating a collaborative, welcoming, and creative environment. Whether it’s building award-winning games or crafting engine technology that enables others to make visually stunning interactive experiences, we’re always innovating.

Being Epic means being a part of a team that continually strives to do right by our community and users. We’re constantly innovating to raise the bar of engine and game development.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT What We Do

Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.

What You’ll Do

As a Director of Product Management, you will be a key leader within the Discovery product org. You will help define the strategy and flywheel of the Discovery system, working closely with Development, Design, and Data Science teams to ship features and optimize systems that connect players with the right content at the right time. You will translate high-level strategic goals into actionable roadmaps, write detailed requirements, and drive cross-functional execution. You will partner with marketing, content strategy, and creator initiatives teams to ensure their needs are reflected in the product.

In this role, you will
  • Own product strategy and execution for defined areas of the Discover surface, developing roadmaps that improve player discovery and drive growth
  • Write detailed business and product requirements that guide design and technical specifications, partnering directly with Development and Data Science to ship high-quality systems and features
  • Develop and refine “playbooks” and operational strategies that leverage Discover features to achieve initiative goals, using data to measure effectiveness and iterate
  • Build and present product and feature concepts to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, clearly articulating impact, rationale, and expected outcomes
  • Drive live operations execution for Discover initiatives, ensuring consistent quality and identifying opportunities for improvement through data analysis
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with meaningful exposure to discovery systems, content platforms, recommendation engines, or large‑scale consumer products
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform product decisions, define success metrics, and evaluate feature performance
  • Passion for games and a solid understanding of growth, retention, and monetization mechanics that deliver value for players
  • Interest in creator ecosystems, with the ability to understand and advocate for developers building on a platform
  • Track record of shipping products in fast‑paced, highly collaborative environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing product requirement documents and presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience managing or mentoring other PMs is a plus
