What does a game writer contract do?

A Game Writer Contract role involves creating narrative content for video games on a contractual basis. This includes writing dialogue, character backstories, world-building details, quests, and sometimes marketing materials. Game writers work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure the story integrates seamlessly with gameplay. Contract positions are typically project-based and may vary in length and scope depending on the game's needs.
