Job description

It is the primary responsibility of the Table Games Dealer to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service while showing skill in dealing their assigned game. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Gaming Registration

  • At least one year gaming experience, strip experience preferred
  • Experience dealing multiple games preferred
  • Audition is required
  • Professional appearance and demeanor a must

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded

  • Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high

  • Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range 

  • Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity 

  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures

  • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS:  Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Greet guests upon arrival at the table
  • Maintain a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the guest with a delightful gaming experience
  • Handle transactions for buy-ins, payoffs and markers
  • Show skill in dealing the assigned game
  • Take losing bets and pay winning bets following rules and procedures
  • Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures
  • Verify fills and credits to the game
  • Notify Floor Supervisor of any irregularities in the play and / or transactions in the game
  • Provide excellent guest service, interact with guest and answers questions
  • Notify Floor Supervisor of any guest needs including cocktails and host services
  • Ask for identification for anybody who looks under 30 years of age at the game
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
