Job Overview
Represents the company professionally and ethically as a strategic purchasing representative. Promote a global Supply Chain to drive cost synergies with the full scope of Getinge Group to ensure competitiveness in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Sourcing Research and Analysis (40%)
  • Lead sourcing research, including market analysis, supplier identification, and category assessments.
  • Coordinate RFQ/RFP activities, including supplier communications, response tracking, and evaluation support.
  • Develop market intelligence, fact packs, and should-cost analyses to support sourcing strategies and negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier financial health to identify risks and opportunities.

Supplier Data and System Management (25%)
  • Maintain SAP supplier master data to ensure records are accurate, complete, and current.
  • Establish and uphold supplier data governance standards, including certifications, documentation, and performance records.
  • Support Ariba system administration, including user enablement, configurations, and data governance activities.

Supplier Coordination and Communication (20%)
  • Support supplier relationship management initiatives by coordinating communication, tracking commitments, and maintaining documentation.
  • Provide analytical support for pricing negotiations and supplier commercial discussions.

Supply Chain Risk & Continuity (15%)
  • Support initiatives related to supply continuity, dual sourcing, and strategic inventory planning.
  • Identify supplier and market risks and provide insights to support mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance indicators and escalate potential continuity concerns.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data, develop should-cost models, and support supplier negotiations.
  • Effective communicator with advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills and the ability to create executive-level analyses and presentations.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and improvement-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in RFQ/RFP coordination, supplier research, and market analysis.
  • Proficiency in SAP (MM/purchasing and logistics modules) required, experience with SAP Ariba preferred.

Quality Requirements:
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
  • Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
  • Ability to work seated for extended periods of time

The salary range for this position is between $67,000-$84,000 per year depending on experience, with a 4% bonus.
