Parkwest Casino is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Server to join our team and make a real difference in our guest's experience! This position is the perfect opportunity for a confident experienced individual with a great understanding of how to deliver fantastic hospitality. Responsibilities
  • A successful server will be fully knowledgeable of the menu so they can inform customers of daily specials, answer questions and make recommendations when needed.
  • Servers are expected to write customers' food orders on order slips and enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
  • Guest service is of the utmost importance. We take pride in our guests and the service we give them on a daily basis. We hope that with your help we can reach the next level of customer service.
  • Servers should expect to roll silverware, set up and prepare for next shift, buss tables when needed after customers have finished dining.
  • Servers should be able to build a positive rapport with our guests.
  • Servers should have the ability to work with a team and portray an upbeat attitude during shift.
  • Serving knowledge is a plus but what is more important is a commitment to yourself to be as good as you possibly can at displaying a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
    • Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • GAMING SERVERS and BARTENDERS MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD!!!
    • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
    • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.

    Physical and mental requirements

    • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
    • Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
    • Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.
    • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
