Overview

A seasonal Game Day Server plays a key role in creating an outstanding fan experience by providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service during home games and other designated events. Their primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive prompt, attentive service while maintaining a welcoming and energetic atmosphere. From greeting guests and taking orders to delivering food and beverages accurately, Game Day Seasonal Servers are committed to providing exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Game Day Servers work closely with culinary, bar, and event staff to ensure smooth service throughout each event, adapting quickly to changing guest needs while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. They are responsible for keeping assigned service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked, following all food safety and responsible alcohol service standards. At the conclusion of each event, they assist with cleaning, resetting, and preparing service areas for future use. Through exceptional teamwork, attention to detail, and a guest-first attitude, Game Day Seasonal Servers help create a memorable game day experience that reflects the high standards of the venue.

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00-$14.00 and is tip eligible.

This is a seasonal role from September 1, 2026, and will end on December 31, 2026.

This position will remain open until October 16, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Reads and understands banquet event orders. 
  • Provides fine-dining-level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with standards of service.
  • Initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
  • Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with standards of service.
  • Maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations. 
  • Maintain all event areas and front-of-house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
  • Participate in both the setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items. 
  • Works independently during slower times.
  • Perform safe work by helping to create a safe and clean work environment. 
  • Has a high level of social contact and deals often with patrons. 
  • Ensures that work is accurate and complete. 
  • Maintains a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude. 
Qualifications
  • Availability to work all of the following game days - September 3rd, 12th, and 19th; October 10th and 24th; November 7th and 27th; and December 31st - is highly preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted. 
  • 1+ years of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred. 
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often. Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays. 
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). 
  • Must be punctual with consistent attendance. 
  • Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers.
