Job Summary:
Nintendo is a worldwide pioneer in interactive entertainment, known for its innovative hardware and software. They are seeking a Senior Engineer for Multimedia to develop new features for gaming consoles, architect software solutions, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop new features for deployment in massively used gaming console.
• Architect and design software solutions for multimedia use cases.
• Research technical issues and provide expert guidance.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other engineers and stakeholders.
• Develop implementation plans and time estimates for tasks.
• Drive software development activities in a small team setting.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of software development.
• Excellent C++ coding and debugging skills.
• Experience in embedded design and development.
• Solid understanding of multi-core SOC devices and low-level kernel software.
• Strong working knowledge of audio and video processing, including compression, transport, and rendering.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
