BASIC FUNCTION:
Incumbent ensures the safety of Seneca Gaming and Entertainment facilities, assets, and guests, by patrolling and monitoring premises and personal property. Assists in enforcing established SGE procedures.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Patrols parking areas to prevent theft from parked vehicles.
2. Patrols inside of building during games.
3. Directs traffic as necessary and also checks and secures buildings at end of shift.
4. Performs security search of individual or personal property as directed by supervisor/manager.
5. Assists at entrances to ensure under age or undesirable guests do not enter.
6. Must be in full uniform at all times.
7. Good Communication and interpersonal skills while providing information to guests.
8. Escorts employees with their cash banks to their designated areas.
9. Escort armored car pick up's and delivery of money.
10. Ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to.
11. Assists in obtaining and carrying monies as needed by employees in a cashier position.
12. Responsible for secured collection of all monies in slot machines.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or Equivalent. Previous security guard experience is preferred. Experience working with the public a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays. Must pass a background clearance in accordance with National Indian Gaming Commission regulations.
