  • Create, store, maintain, archive and dispose of Games Demand Model datasets and code sets in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Support various data owners and stewards within LA28 to ensure data integrity, accuracy and relevance of the datasets required for the Games Demand Model. This includes, but is not limited to, venues, schedules, stakeholder population estimates, behavioral assumptions, etc.

  • Support the development of planning assumptions to help model the demand for services by Olympic Games Stakeholders.

  • Act as data owner for certain key datasets and code sets within LA28

  • Collaborate closely with the Technology team to develop and maintain the overall system and data architecture supporting the Games Demand Model

  • Support the ETL (extract, transform and load) process necessary for the Games Demand Model in partnership with the Technology team

  • Develop dashboards, ad-hoc analyses or other communication materials to support operational planning and decision-making of LA28 functional areas

  • Provide data analysis advice to decide on how to best evolve the Games Demand Model and address the priority data needs expressed by the LA28 functional areas

  • Lead the development and integration of new datasets and planning assumptions within the Games Demand Model

  • Prepare materials to support the Games Demand Model Governance (e.g. meeting agendas, presentations, minutes)

Data related activities

  • Promote the consistent use of terminology stored in common code sets throughout LA28

  • Develop data governance policies and procedures as required

  • Support communications efforts within LA28 to inform when changes to key planning assumptions have been made

  • Support the Games-time operational data capture efforts

Background and Requirements
