POSITION TITLE: Dealer

DEPARTMENT: Table Games

DIVISION: Casino Operations

REPORTS TO: Pit Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

Conducts operation of assigned game according to the rules of the game, company standards and Gaming Commission Guidelines.

**MUST CURRENTLY HAVE OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN MISSISSIPPI GAMING BADGE**

Responsible for providing a fun and exciting atmosphere for all patrons of Treasure Bay. A pleasant demeanor and a smiling face are job requirements.

TASKS:

  1. Exhibits a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  2. Assists customers with rules of play.
  3. Exchanges currency for playing chips/tokens.
  4. Distributes correct payment to winning players and collects bets from losing players.
  5. Handles markers as approved by Pit Supervisor.
  6. Protects table bankroll.
  7. Other tasks as requested by management.

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School diploma or G.E.D. 6 months experience as dealer. Strong math skills for computing payoffs. Excellent customer service skills.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, reach, balance, read, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, manual dexterity.

HAZARDS:

Include but are not limited to: back strain/sprain, sore feet, cuts from broken glass, high noise levels, inhalation of cigarette smoke.
