Job description

The Cleveland Racquet Club is a sports facility offering programs in tennis, squash, paddle, fitness and aquatics. Our club is currently seeking a full-time housekeeper. The position is second shift (3:00 pm- 11:00 pm) and requires some weekends/holidays. The goal is to keep our building and property neat and clean and enjoyable for our members. Facility includes 2 restaurants and kitchens, banquet rooms, 2 sets of locker rooms, an indoor and outdoor pool, 12 outdoor clay courts and 2 hard courts, 10 indoor tennis courts, squash gallery with 5 courts, and 4 paddle courts with hut.

Job Tasks

Dusts rooms and furniture.

Cleans restrooms; restocks restroom supplies.

Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club including dining areas.

Empties all wastebaskets.

Disinfects telephones.

Cleans and polishes brass.

Washes inside and outside of windows.

Reports any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the maintenance or housekeeping departments.

Takes trash to dumpster.

Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles.

Cleans locker room areas including showers and bath areas.

Maintains the pool area changing rooms and restrooms.

Cleans exterior of HVAC vents.

Conducts deep-cleaning projects.

Dusts exercise equipment.

Cleans employee restrooms.

Vacuums elevators; cleans stairwells and landings; dusts ceiling light fixtures; does spot cleaning as necessary.

Washes, dries and folds towel laundry.
