General Description:
The Direct Care Staff II (Support Staff II) serve as Providence Corporation's arm in its mission to promote the principles of Everyday lives in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Direct Care Staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our individuals, and ensuring that services provided are in compliance with the applicable Individual Services Plan, Behavioral Plan, and any other pertinent care information.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the House Manager, Program Specialist, Program Director, Executive Director
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Possession of Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or equivalent
  • ASL Certification (ASL as natural language) - required prior to interview
  • Experience in the human services field
  • Possession of valid driver's license
  • Possession of safety training in CPR. First aid, and other safety measures within sixty days of employment.

Salary:
Starting at $15 per hour ($18 per hour between the hours of 7am and 11pm)
Miscellaneous:
The incumbent is subject to a criminal background check. The incumbent is also subject to a post offer physical, TB screening, and drug testing.
