Job description

We are currently seeking an Electrical Service Technician for the Savannah area. You will work safely toward diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and maintaining our client's electrical systems while ensuring high safety and code-compliant, electrical systems for a variety of types of existing and new customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems from beginning to end for residential and commercial buildings and job sites.
  • Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical devices, wiring, conduit, connectors, controls and components.
  • Install various types of conduit and underground raceways as needed to accommodate new and existing wiring.
  • Troubleshoot power outages for buildings, room sections, appliances, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot lighting fixtures and systems
  • Provide understandable written explanations for estimates, proposals, and upgrades for new systems and alterations.
  • Adhere to appropriate quality and safety codes.

​​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical service, maintenance, repair, and installation is required.
  • Must be articulate with verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings is required.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, powered lifts, trenching equipment, and a wide variety of ladders.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Must reside in or around the Savannah, GA area and undergo a background check including a MVR evaluation.
