Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced GA/Corporate A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanic for a contract position, offering an hourly rate of $40- $50. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional eager to apply extensive aviation maintenance expertise in a dynamic environment. As an integral part of our maintenance team, you will perform comprehensive aircraft repairs, inspections, and modifications, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the highest levels of safety, reliability, and operational readiness for our fleet.


Must have experience on corporate airframes (CJ2, CJ3, King Air) and General Aviation Aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Cirrus)
Primary Duties
- This contract opportunity is located in Kingsford, Michigan
- We are looking for experienced individuals to help guide & train less experienced A&P mechanics.
- You must be willing to effectively communicate, teach, and lead less experienced mechanics for this role or you will not be considered.
- Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of aircraft airframes, powerplants, avionics systems, and related components in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
-Perform repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting using schematics.
Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, etc.
-Execute maintenance and RTS aircraft within' schedule.
Assist in the overhaul of aircraft components, airframe structures, and power systems while adhering to federal aviation regulations (FAR) and industry best practices.
- Proven leadership experience with an A&P in a P145 environment.
- Proven mechanic experience in aviation maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations.
- Proficiency in using software to track Work Orders (Corridor, CAMP, etc).
- MUST have your own tools.
