Enwork is committed to innovation and continuous improvement in our products and manufacturing processes.

The Packaging position is responsible for preparing finished furniture and furniture components for shipment. This includes assembling furniture as required, inspecting products for quality, protecting products from damage, selecting and applying appropriate packaging materials, and ensuring finished products are properly prepared for delivery to customers.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Prepare completed furniture and components for shipment.
  • Select the appropriate packaging materials based on the size, weight, shape, and requirements of the product.
  • Wrap furniture using protective materials such as foam, plastic, cardboard, paper, pads, and other protective packaging.
  • Package products securely to prevent movement, scratching, denting, or other damage during handling and transportation.
  • Assemble cartons and packaging materials as required.
  • Properly position products within cartons or packaging to provide maximum protection.
  • Use tape, staples, straps, bands, and other approved methods to secure packages.
  • Ensure packages are properly sealed and ready for transportation.
  • Apply labels, product ย ย ย ย ย identification, and other required markings.
  • Verify product information and quantities prior to completing packaging.
  • Ensure hardware, instructions, accessories, and other required items are included with the finished product.
  • Repackage products when packaging is damaged or does not meet company standards.

  • Perform visual and physical inspections of products before packaging.
  • Ensure finished products meet established quality standards.
  • Pay close attention to product appearance, cleanliness, alignment, and completeness.
  • Prevent damaged or incomplete products from being packaged.
  • Report quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Follow all quality-control procedures and work instructions.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of work performed.

Safety
