Description
The Team Member Development Specialist is responsible for supporting the growth, performance, and engagement of employees through targeted development programs, training initiatives, and coaching. This role focuses on identifying skill gaps, creating learning opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to ensure team members reach their full potential.
• Partner with managers to assess team member development needs and create individualized development plans.
• Design, deliver, and facilitate training programs, workshops, and onboarding sessions for employees at all levels.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to improve performance, engagement, and career progression.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify high-potential employees and support succession planning efforts.
• Monitor and track development program effectiveness, analyzing metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in learning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
• Support performance management processes, including feedback, evaluations, and goal setting.
• Assist in creating and maintaining learning materials, job aids, and documentation for development programs.
• Promote a positive workplace culture by reinforcing company values and encouraging employee engagement initiatives.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related program software
• Ability to work well under pressure and in intense situations.
• Ability to effectively determine and protect confidential information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required and necessary
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, and new team members
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning skills to solve a problem
• Receptive to training and performing function in multiple areas
• Adapt with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
• 3+ years of experience in learning and development, employee engagement, or HR related roles
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationship at all levels
• Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment
• Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment
• Demonstrates strong coaching and mentoring abilities, helping team members build confidence, enhance skills, and achieve development goals.
• Develop team members build skills needed to meet job expectations and comply with ISO and IATF standards
• Communicates clearly and effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, delivering information in a way that is engaging, supportive and easy to understand.
• Applies solid knowledge of learning and development principles in design, facilitate, and evaluate effective training programs

• Individual must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor, which includes Head Protection, hearing protection; safety eye protection, gloves, sleeves and steel-toed safety shoes, High Visibility Vest.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
