Job description

We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our Distribution Center team In this role, you'll deliver and set up furniture in customers' homes, ensure the truck is maintained and clean, and work alongside a Delivery Helper to complete daily routes. When not driving, you'll support general warehouse functions to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements
What you'll do
  • Deliver and set up furniture in customer homes
  • Remove old furniture as needed and complete all delivery paperwork
  • Supervise and support your Delivery Helper
  • Maintain truck cleanliness and complete daily maintenance checks
  • Verify inventory loads against shipping paperwork
  • Obey traffic laws and follow company driving procedures
  • Support warehouse duties when not on delivery, including: unloading, tagging, prepping, recycling, cleaning, cycle counts & assisting with customer pickups, returns to stock, and assembly

Qualifications
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No DUI, DWI, or Reckless Driving in the last 5 years
  • Must have held a driver's license for at least 5 years (not necessarily consecutively)

Responsibilities
  • Minimum 6 months experience driving a box truck or larger
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be DOT qualified and maintain required documents
  • Ability to read maps and follow oral/written directions
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Able to pass a lift assessment (push/pull up to 250 lbs with or without accommodations)
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather and warehouse conditions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
