Job description

Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our growing furniture manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring customer projects move seamlessly from concept to completion through accurate quoting, clear communication, and strong cross-department coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quotes for new orders by collaborating closely with production, purchasing, engineering, and other internal teams to determine material, labor, and development costs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project development needs.
  • Provide timely updates on status, changes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Create and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Order and follow up on all materials needed for the project, ensuring availability ahead of production timelines.
  • Prepare all required documentation, including work orders, bill of materials, project briefs, production notes, and shipping labels.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all project data is up to date.
  • Coordinate shipping arrangements with logistics partners.
  • Communicate shipping updates to customers and internal teams to ensure transparency and smooth delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows, materials planning, and quoting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
