Job description

Lucas Furniture & Mattress is a family-owned furniture and mattress store in Lafayette, IN. We have been successful because of our commitment to our customers both before and after the sale. We offer a professional, rewarding and fun work environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building relationships with customers, and assisting with sales and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Listen to customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Maintain product knowledge and be able to explain features and benefits of products.
  • Be able to upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Keep the sales floor organized and clean.
  • General computer experience and knowledge is required.
