What You'll Do

  • Provide care and guidance to familiesย during and after the arrangement process
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Supervise and support funeral, visitation, memorial and gravesideย service
  • Float between chapels to support as needed
  • Assist with the preparation ofย decedents as neededย with dignity and professionalism
  • Assist with removals as needed

Qualified applicants will hold and maintain a Funeral Director and Embalmer license that is valid in your area or possess the ability to reciprocate, have passed the National Board Exam and maintain a valid Driver's License.ย  Additionally, the following may be required:

  • A minimum of oneย years of similar or related experience.
  • Possess necessary licensure or other certification to meet local or state legal requirements in order to perform the functions of a Funeral Director.
  • Possess and maintain necessary licensure or certification to meet local, state, and federal legal requirements to perform the function of embalming.
  • Possess a valid driver'sย license and meet the driving performance standards as determined by management. MVRโ€™s may be reviewed annually for compliance, and any conviction or at-fault accidents should be immediately reported to management.

Essential Physical Abilities

  • Ability to tolerate exposure to hazardous substances subject to government requirements; occasional lifting, pushing and pulling, with assistance, of objects up to approximately 600 pounds; manual dexterity required for clerical tasks; occasional stooping, bending, pushing, pulling and carrying objects weighing up to approximately 30 pounds for short distances. ย 
  • Ability to travel by standard methods of transportation. ย 
  • Proficientlyย communicateย with management and supervised employees.ย
