We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional individual to join our funeral home team as a Removal Specialist. This position is responsible for assisting in the dignified and respectful transfer of deceased individuals from homes, facilities, and hospitals to our funeral home. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and care when serving families during sensitive times.
Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to calls for removals in homes, facilities, or hospitals.
  • Safely and respectfully transfer deceased individuals to the funeral home.
  • Maintain professionalism and compassion when interacting with family members, caregivers, and medical staff.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation accompanies each removal.
  • Properly handle and maintain transportation equipment, cots, and protective gear.
  • Keep removal vehicle clean, organized, and ready for dispatch.
