Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing fund operations and financial reporting. We are a dynamic investment management firm dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate daily with the third-party administrator.
  • Complete and accurate maintenance of fund books and records.
  • Timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Accurate and timely investor reporting.
  • Perform cash management activities.
  • Initiating wires for investment purchases and fund expenses.
  • Confirming wire instructions and processing draws/paydowns on credit lines.
  • Reconciling capital calls.
  • Assist with financial statement audits and regulatory compliance reporting.
  • Review investor K-1s and other tax-related filings.
  • Prepare and conduct analytical reviews of weekly and monthly fund performance and investor reports.
  • Provide support to investment and client service teams for ad-hoc requests.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in fund accounting, public accounting or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and investment fund structures.
