Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries from investors, fund management and accounting staff
  • Input investor information in company systems and investor files
  • Review work of junior associates and other team members
  • Implement projects related to new legislation or other relevant department initiatives
  • Provide guidance and expertise to junior staff
  • Distribute offering documents on behalf of clients
  • Prepare and track private equity capital call and distribution notices
  • Review letters and database entries
  • Review and process subscriptions and redemptions of capital for existing documents and other legal documents pertinent to the fund
  • Maintain routine correspondence with fund management and investors
  • Distribute investor statements
  • Complete underlying investment documents for fund of fund clients
  • Prepare reports for fund management,
  • Prepare monthly summary report for fund management regarding new capital, additional capital and redemptions
  • Complete preparation as needed for the annual audit of funds
  • Distribute audited financial statements and K1 reports
  • Assist in completion of investor audit requests

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a fund administration or other financial services firm preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to assist in the development and training of staff
  • Ability to multitask ; excellent written and oral communication, organization, time management, planning and problem solving skills required
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers
  • Ability to meet approved schedules and deadlines
