The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of aviation construction projects across OTG's airport portfolio. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for project scope, schedule, budget, and quality from preconstruction through project closeout.
Working closely with airport authorities, design teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders, the Senior Project Manager ensures projects are executed efficiently while maintaining compliance with all aviation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
In This Role, You Will
Project Leadership
Lead cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal OTG stakeholders
Serve as OTG's representative in coordination with airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and project partners
Provide strategic oversight of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality throughout the project lifecycle
Lead project start-up and preconstruction activities including budgeting, schedule development, and constructability review
Coordinate design development and ensure alignment with operational and brand requirements
Support value engineering and cost optimization efforts during design and procurement phases
Oversee construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Manage contractor and subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and performance
Track project financials including budgets, change orders, and cost controls
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule or cost impacts
Airport & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with airport authorities, TSA, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with aviation construction requirements
Facilitate communication between OTG leadership, design teams, contractors, and operational stakeholders
Attend construction progress meetings and provide clear project updates to leadership
Oversee project closeout including punch list completion, turnover documentation, and operational handoff
Coordinate with OTG Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance teams to ensure successful project transition
Qualifications/ Criteria
Minimum 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
Experience delivering restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments
Airport or aviation construction experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of construction documents, specifications, and building systems
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling tools (Microsoft Project or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED
