Job description

We are seeking a high-impact Project Manager and PIM Functional Lead to spearhead our Salsify implementations and product data strategy. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Product Information Management (PIM) projects, ensuring that our product data is accurate, optimized, and seamlessly syndicated across all channels.

As a functional lead, you are not just tracking tasks; you are shaping the way product data flows through our ecosystem. You will act as the primary Salsify subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders through complex digital shelf requirements and technical configurations.

Must be a hands-on Salsify PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Own the project roadmap for Salsify implementations, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within scope.

  • Functional Architecture: Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications within the Salsify platform.

  • Data Governance: Establish and maintain PIM best practices, including data modeling, attribute mapping, and digital asset management.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between marketing, sales, and technical teams to align product data with commercial goals.

  • Syndication & Workflows: Design and optimize automated workflows for product readiness and manage complex syndication channels to various retailers and marketplaces.

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure data integrity across all environments.

Required Qualifications
  • Salsify Expertise: Proven experience leading Salsify implementations or serving as a platform administrator.

  • PIM/PXM Knowledge: Deep understanding of Product Information Management (PIM) and Product Experience Management (PXM) principles.

  • Functional Project Management: 3+ years of experience in a PM role, specifically within the e-commerce or SaaS space. You should be comfortable managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Communication: Ability to explain technical PIM concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

  • Adaptability: This is a contract-to-hire position; we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is interested in growing into a long-term leadership role within the organization.
