Job description

Job Summary:
As an Account Manager I, you are responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and account growth. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, identifying upselling opportunities, and partnering closely with Sales Representatives to help both existing and new clients achieve their business objectives.
Essential Functions:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and assigned clients.
  • Manage day-to-day activities across multiple client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering strategic insight, personalized service, and consistent follow-up.
  • Partner with Sales Representatives and customers to identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure project milestones are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Collaborate with Estimating to develop pricing proposals and budget forecasts tailed to client needs.
  • Track and report on account health, usage trends, and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the CRM system.
  • Plan and coordinate annual client review meetings, including agenda setting, data compilation, and follow-up.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to remain organized and self-directed.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Five years account management or sales experience in a fast-paced sales environment preferred
  • Print and/or publishing experience preferred
