Position Overview:
Lead commercialization initiatives and manage priorities while executing the functional responsibilities associated with the New Product Planning process aligned with business strategy and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) principles.
Generating successful activities in the marketplace is critical to ensure continuing business growth of the Profit Center. At the same time, product lifecycles of the core business need to be managed to avoid uncontrolled range proliferation and escalating business complexity. Driving improved ways of working between business teams to deliver an efficient and effective product planning management approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Project Management for new products using Project Management processes and tools ensuring delivery of agreed scope, on-time execution of all activities, meeting the promised metrics, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional divisional reviews for Profit's Center Project Portfolio, including Stage Gate submissions.
  • Lead weekly cross-functional team meetings to ensure projects are aligned and are meeting timelines.
  • Document stage gate process to give effective and quality input to the IBP process, by giving visibility of changes in timings, scope and impact of all risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure effective SKU rationalization process.
  • Product lifecycle management, including Post Launch reviews, SKU de-complexity: continual management of total product performance and drive actions to avoid uncontrolled range proliferation and increased business complexity.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years Project Management experience (Product or Service Commercialization)
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline highly preferred
  • Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced Excel and Intermediate PowerPoint experience required
  • Experience working with a manufacturing organization a plus
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
