Location: Fremont, CA โ€” Onsite/Hybrid

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Material Master Functional Architect to serve as the functional expert for Material Master data within the Central Data Team. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Digital Transformation programs to design, implement, govern, and continuously improve Material Master processes and data across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will have strong SAP S/4HANA Material Master expertise, excellent business process knowledge, and experience supporting enterprise-wide master data initiatives and SAP transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Material Master and related master data processes.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs, specifications, and SAP solutions.
  • Lead Material Master discovery workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Drive Material Master data standardization, governance, process harmonization, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, PLM, MES, and IT teams.
  • Support enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation and ERP implementation programs.
  • Lead Material Master data profiling, cleansing, mapping, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and migration cutover activities.
  • Ensure Material Master processes and data integrate effectively across enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of SAP Material Master experience, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Strong functional expertise in Material Master data, configuration, data models, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience gathering requirements and developing functional specifications and SAP solutions.
  • Proven experience leading Material Master design and implementation within ERP transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience with data profiling, cleansing, mapping, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and migration/cutover.
  • Strong understanding of Material Master integration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, PLM, and MES.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders in manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP MDG.
  • Experience with Informatica CDIDMC or similar data governance/data quality platforms.
  • Semiconductor or high-tech industry experience.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide master data governance and standardization initiatives.
