Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
o Handson Experience in Aluminum or steel domain and in depth knowledge of Planning/ Scheduling/ operations / maintenance predominantly in melting and or Hot Rolling
o Plant L2 knowledge, having good hands on knowledge on PDI/PDO and basic knowledge of Rolling geometric models
o Knowledge of DCS, Histrorian (OSI PI/ IP.21, IBA systems)
o Good Understanding of Scheduling & MES products like Quintiq, PSI, Rockwell FTPC, Siemens product etc.
o Good understanding of various modules of ERP
Experience of working on Digital transformation initiative for the integrated steel or Aluminum plants and experience of working with technologies such as MES, caster/mill scheduling, ISA 95 and MESA model knowledge
Roles & Responsibilities
o The candidate will be responsible to interact with the customer to understand the problem statements and build the point of view/ proactive solution leveraging the digital technologies
o This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams of customer/ TCS to conceive solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability while leveraging digital strategies with business outcome
o Responsible for driving/ executing/ guiding digital initiatives across refinery operations, leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies such as AI, IoT, digital twins, predictive analytics, and automation
o Responsible to write white papers, approach papers, research paper & interact with analysts
o Should be able to conceive digital solution and acting as a product owner/ manager for the same.
o Should be ready to learn new technologies
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
o Experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, Data Science, GenAI, Linear programming
o Understanding of IT-OT convergence and OT Security
o Experience of developing solutions using AI/ GenAI
o Rolling & Finishing economicsExperience working in onsiteoffshore delivery models.
Salary Range: $125,000- $140,000 a year
