Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and minimize disruption.2. Respond to line calls and troubleshoot production issues to maintain safety, quality, and delivery standards.3. Initiate, review, and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as 3DX, Teamcenter or Windchill.4. Design and validate tools and fixtures that improve operator efficiency, safety, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).5. Apply lean manufacturing principles to identify and implement process improvements, including Kaizen events and just-in-time (JIT) practices.6. Integrate automation and smart tools into the value stream to reduce manual labor and improve consistency.7. Use computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as AutoCAD, DraftSight, or SOLIDWORKS to support tooling and process design.What We’re Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Proficiency in manufacturing processes, tooling, and lean methodologies.- Experience with ECNs and PLM systems (e.g., 3DX, Teamcenter, Windchill).- Working knowledge of CAD tools and digital work instruction platforms.- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Power BI dashboards, or IoT (Internet of Things)-enabled process monitoring tools.- Ability to collaborate across departments and support data-driven decision-making.Travel- Occasional travel is expected of this position.Work LocationONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus.
