Roles and Responsibilities:
In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Skills /Competencies
Essential:
• SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP QM (S/4HANA preferred)
• Deep functional knowledge of inspection processing, batch management, quality notifications, and QM reporting
• Proven experience in end-to-end QM implementations and global rollouts
• Strong experience in global template governance and standardization
• Expertise in defining WRICEF objects and functional specifications
• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA QM processes including inspection planning, results recording, usage decision, and notifications
• Configure and optimize QM transactions (QA11, QA12, QA32, QA33) including selection screens, ALV layouts, and table controls
• Govern global QM template objects (quality score procedures, usage decision, follow-up actions, inventory postings, code groups) ensuring adherence to naming standards and rollout guidelines
• Design and manage batch-related quality processes including Quality Batch Status, expired batches, and alignment with stock types via enhancements and background jobs
• Define WRICEF requirements and provide functional specifications for QM developments (e.g., batch automation, job notifications, inspection lot controls)
• Drive data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies, defining validation logic, and enabling controlled correction/deletion mechanisms
• Define and validate QM reporting requirements (e.g., chain-of-custody tracking, event-based reporting with timestamps, user, and movement data)
• Define Fiori app requirements and ensure usability, performance, and adoption through optimized selection criteria
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure role-based access and resolve authorization issues
• Ensure compliance with global template standards (e.g., ASPIRE) and seamless integration with MM, PP, and SD
Preferred:
• Experience in Life science domain.
• SAP S/4 EWM technical knowhow - high level and roadmap knowledge
• Previous experience for working in Pharmaceutical vertical
• Multilingual proficiency but English is MUST
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, life sciences)
• Exposure to LIMS or external quality systems
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and UX design principles
• Knowledge of audit, compliance, and data governance frameworks
Additional Skills:
• Strong documentation skills: BBP, Functional Design Documents, SOPs, Training Material.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with structured defect and issue management.
• Presales and consulting mindset:
Client advisory, value articulation, roadmap definition
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA/ALM, ChaRM.
• Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, global delivery models.
