THE POSITION:

We're looking for a full-time Foreman 1-2 to coordinate operations and oversee electricians at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, the Foreman 1 will be a key person for the completion of a project. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical construction with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to make quick decisions. This person will be well organized and must have safety first mindset.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise field production activities to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, teamwork, pride and development of the team.
  • Ensures work is performed according to company standards and project specifications including planning and managing labor, materials, and production on electrical construction projects.
  • Creates a material Buy-Out prior to the job beginning.
  • Plans work and labor requirements for the project for a minimum of 3 weeks.
  • Complete As-Built Drawings and orders material once a week.
  • File daily reports and report all incidents.
  • Manages all project Close-Out processes as well as budget control (manage the cost on the site)
  • Communicates efficiently with the Project Management team as well as the customer/ GC.
  • Draft RFI's and submit them to the PM team.
  • Enforce all HR/ Company policies, safety policies, and perform discipline action with crew as needed.
  • Enter and approve timecards for assigned crew.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of commercial/ industrial foreman electrical experience
  • Experience working in data center and high-rise projects preferred**
  • Experience leading crews of 20+ employees
  • Advanced abilities at reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and solid understanding of current electrical codes and installation methods.
  • Well-versed in the installation of power systems - lighting, fire protection and security and data networks.
  • Ability to order and track materials, perform job cost projections, and develop "as-builts"
  • Proficient at all construction software as required
  • Clean background and driving record
  • Ability to run projects $1M and larger
  • Must be able to reach overhead, lift 75 pounds, and push and pull materials.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of positions, e.g., stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, etc.
  • Work is regularly performed in outdoor weather conditions where temperatures can exceed one hundred degrees.

Pay Range: $40-$47 Per Hour
