Senior Project Engineer - Municipal

What you'll do
As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll take on a leadership role in delivering complex projects while mentoring junior staff and ensuring technical quality. You'll also: 
      Lead and coordinate project design efforts.
      Apply engineering principles and judgment.
      Review and validate calculations, plans and reports.
      Identify and resolve discrepancies.
      Proactively address project challenges.
      Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
      Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets and quality standards.
      Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth.
      Represent the firm in client meetings and presentations.
 
What it takes
Ideally, you'll have a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. If you have eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or the ability to obtain reciprocity[EM1] . Ideally, you will also: 
      Speak and write well.
      Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
      Be comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with clients.
      Manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
      Be a team player who can also operate independently when needed.
