Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Generate revenue by booking birthday parties and keep track of pending birthday parties.
Verify and/or reconfirm incoming and current groups/events.
Communicate with other supervisors on a regular basis.
Provide special assistance to all guests and groups, immediately take care of any guest requests. Assist with special groups and events.
Assist team members and other departments as needed. Communicate with other departments regarding food orders.
Handle complaints, using good judgment as to which one to refer to the management. Immediately take care of any minor problems or guest requests.
Be familiar with Tumble Town play structure and be able to run all attractions including Bumper Cars and Lazer Tag.
Instruct guests on proper operation of game equipment.
Verify party totals and ensure collection of party revenue and deposits. Receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, room charges and comp numbers.
Provide legible and thorough record keeping of daily shift paperwork. Maintain department files.
Answer telephone with professional courtesy and direct all phone traffic promptly and accurately. Make announcements on the PA system.
Responsible for the department in all cases of emergency situations and how to contact the proper channels for each emergency.
Correspond accurately and professionally via email, phone call, and in-person.
Responsible for opening and closing procedures for the venue.
Run beginning and EOS reports.
Manage labor for attendants during shift and leading the team productively.
Inventory items needed for the venue and communicate with management when items are needed in a timely manner.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must be proficient in cash handling.
Meet requirements of regular attendance to effectively complete job responsibilities in a timely manner.
Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format.
Contributes to a positive work environment, fosters collaboration, and provides a tangible contribution.
Ability to verbally communicate in English and attend and participate in meetings to be informed of new rules, regulation, and procedures and to discuss other concerns.
Work with interruptions and to perform multiple tasks while remaining collected in high pressure situations.
Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: clerical, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous guest service experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull 50lbs or less constantly.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands, light grasping motions and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment, electrical, and mechanical devices.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be quiet or loud at times.
Team member may be exposed to vibrations, fumes/odors, dirt/dust, moving objects, and high places.
