Job description

Hello Caregivers!

Are you an active, outgoing, FUN nanny looking for your next role? Our Ipswich family is looking for an energetic, creative and reliable nanny to join their family 40 hours per week! We are looking for a caregiver that LOVES working and playing with early-elementary aged children. MUST be a great swimmer and love to spend time outside. The property is on a farm, so animal lovers encouraged to apply- seriously, MUST love all kinds of animals! They've got dogs, horses, chickens, goats, etc. and would prefer a nanny that isn't afraid to get dirty who would take advantage of exploring the farm and playing outside. A vehicle will be provided for the nanny to take the children on outings and facilitate any pick-ups and drop-offs. Must be a safe driver with clean driving record.

Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00-6:00. We would love if candidates were open to adding a few date nights and travel time, too!

Charges: 6 year old & 9 year old

Rate: $35-$45 per hour (highly competitive) depending on experience and fit. We are looking for the perfect fit and someone who can start as soon as possible.

Start Date: ASAP

Commitment: LONG TERM- minimum 1 year contract

Benefits: 40 hours guaranteed paid per week, paid federal holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick time

Job description:

  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
  • Tidying up after the children and the work day
  • Feeding children
  • Light meal prep (cutting veggies, boiling pasta, etc)
  • Indoor and outdoor play (must be active with the kids)
  • Homework help during the school year
  • Stimulating activities and age appropriate games
  • Facilitating pick ups and drop offs (vehicle provided)
  • Reading to the children
  • Taking the children to the pool, park, beaches, etc.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Active, energetic, youthful, loves the outdoors
  • Loves playing outside in all weather- snow days!!
  • Lots of experience working with 6-10 year olds
  • Comfortable around medium/large dogs and other animals
  • Organized and task-driven
  • Non-smokers only, please.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Cheery and Helpful Disposition
  • Background Check (provided by agency)
  • Driving Record (provided by agency)
  • Takes good direction on parenting style then requires minimal to no oversight.
