Position Overview

Children's Youth and Family Health Services is actively seeking dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team. As a therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, offering them the comprehensive care and unwavering support they need to thrive. This full-time remote position allows you to make a real difference in the lives of our clients from the comfort of your home while connecting with them through our outpatient office in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each clientโ€™s circumstances.
  • Collaborate daily with colleagues, sharing insights and strategies to ensure a cohesive treatment plan that meets all facets of a clientโ€™s needs.
  • Engage and educate clients' families about mental health issues, fostering understanding and support during the recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure full compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines to protect client privacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work primarily with children, adolescents, and families, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic client population, enhancing your cultural competence while delivering compassionate care tailored to individual experiences.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A demonstrated commitment to mental health counseling through specialized training or significant experience.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in evidence-based practices relevant to a variety of mental health disorders.
  • Exceptional therapeutic skills with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients towards recovery.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills essential for fostering collaborative treatment relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience implementing group therapy programs and psychoeducational workshops.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Our therapists receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
