  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and work instructions
  • Select tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds for a wide range of materials
  • Machine tight-tolerance oilfield and general industrial components in prototype, short-run, and repeat-production quantities
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and program issues while maintaining quality and productivity
  • Work with management and shop personnel to improve cycle times, repeatability, and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Machines, controls and software

Core equipment includes CNC lathes, CNC mills, and mill-turn machines running Okuma and Fanuc controls, programmed with BobCAD-CAM alongside conversational and G-code programming.

  • 10+ years of CNC machining and programming experience
  • Strong experience programming and setting up CNC lathes and mills
  • Experience with BobCAD-CAM or comparable CAM software
  • Working knowledge of Okuma and Fanuc CNC controls

  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and consistently produce quality parts

Preferred
